Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Casino Royal - Uhrencenter ...
In Casino Royale (2006), Bond uses his Omega Seamaster watch as knuckle dusters while in the Venice fight scene. Because of the pace of the scene, it is never directly showed that he puts it on and is easily missed.
Where do you think 007(Daniel Craig's Bond) gets all his new watches? I know the Omega Seamaster he received in Spectre was a gadget, but I'm talking about prior Bond films starting from Casino, AKA, his personal watches.
In Casino Royale, Bond had a Planet Ocean 45mm and a Seamaster 300m. In Quantum of Solace, he wore a Planet Ocean 42mm. Did he just get a new Planet Ocean, perhaps by trading it, while on the hunt for Mr. White at the end of Casino? It just seems like odd timing to me. Also, Bond wears a Seamaster Aqua Terra in Skyfall and then a slightly different model in Spectre. I think it's fair to assume he's a watch fan, but not to the extent where he would walk into an Omega store after M's death and trade his Aqua Terra for a slightly different model before going on the hunt for L'American in Spectre(or whatever the hell that movie was about. Honestly, the Seamaster he wore made it worth it.) Thoughts?
Up for raffle today is a beautiful Omega Planet Ocean reference 29005091. This 1st generation Planet Ocean is best known for being featured in the James Bond Casino Royale movie. It shows beautifully with the 45.5mm case paired up with the black Omega rubber strap. The heart of this is the ever reliable co-axial 2500 movement. This piece is in overall nice condition given the age with just some typical wear on the case sides. The watch is holding excellent time and is within COSC spec.
Brand new Reptime user here! I've gone over the intro wiki but was wondering if anyone could specifically help me find one of the Omega Seamaster 300s that Bond uses, specifically the one he wears from Casino Royale, which is linked on this webpage under "2006: Casino Royale". http://www.007museum.com/omega_seamaster_james_bond.htm Any help would be appreciated! No budgetary constraints as far as rep pricing goes. Edit: Budget versions have been found on DHgate for ~$100 USD. The one with 007 branding is on the way and I will be picking up the standard one soon as well.
Hi, watchexchange- I am looking to sell my OMEGA Seamaster Professional, reference 2220.80. The reason why I am selling is I have hit a financial hardship and have to sell part of my collection. I bought this amazing piece from watchexchange. Link: https://www.reddit.com/Watchexchange/comments/9tzqm0/wts_omega_smp300_seamaster_professional_22208000/ This is the Seamaster worn by Daniel Craig in the famous casino scene from Casino Royale. It was the last wave-dial before OMEGA switched to the plain dial. This is a rarer transitional piece, as it has the best features of the original wave-dial SMPs combined with the upgraded details from the newer SMPs. You get the classic Bond wave-dial and metal bezel from the original SMP, combined with the modern Coaxial movement, applied markers and red painted details on the dials that the newer models have. Watch is in excellent condition. I am the third owner. Includes full set of box, papers and original hang tags. Will also include additional strap, beautiful Hirsch Heavy Calf blue leather, seen in the picture album. I am asking $2600 Net.

https://imgur.com/a/e4z0IAs (Timestamp in imgur link - happy to take more photos for serious traders). Feeler trade post: I will consider any trades for any colors / versions of the Rolex OP36 116000 (have a preference for the 3 6 9 blue dial, but will consider all options). Will add cash, of course, with amount depending your 116000 color and quality. I have a Joma set (meaning with Pictogram card, but no AD card warranty) of a 41mm Blue (212) Omega SMPc (https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/w...21230412003001). I have the 1154 6-position push adjustment clasp installed, bought new from the Omega boutique in NY (receipt included). Original clasp and full bracelet w/ extra links included (instruction manual, hangtags etc etc all included) Watch has been worn but has been well taken care of - desk diving scratches only on case, bracelet and clasp. Apparently there is a very, very small "scratch" on the A/R or crystal (probably A/R since crystal is ridiculously hard to scratch) but I assure you it is invisible 99.9% of the time to me - this "scratch" was pointed out to me during regulation at Omega King of Prussia. Ceramic bezel looks good as scratches don't really show on ceramic, and plus it is extremely hard to scratch! I had the SMPc regulated at Omega Boutique @ King of Prussia and successfully pressure tested in December, when the watchmaker said the watch did NOT need a service in the near future. Watch is running with COSC, of course. I am located in Philly and am happy to meet you half-way or travel to surrounding areas to meetup for an F2F trade (NY, DC, Baltimore, are fine etc.). Given the size of the Joma set, F2F is preferred since shipping the box is a hassle for a trade. I have only a few posts here but have references both as a seller and buyer - I actually bought this Omega from a reputed member on watchuseek (search my name - "casinoroyale" on WUS) and I've also sold Omega on watchexchange (search "CasinoRoyale_007"). Am happy to provide more details of myself and of course pictures of the watch for a truly interested trader. Please message me here at any time to get in touch :) Thanks watchexchange for the space!

Furthermore the nickname “Royale” is misleading. My understanding is that:
“Royale” is an abbreviation of “Casio Royale”.
“Casio Royale” is an allusion to Ian Fleming's “Casino Royale”.
“Casino Royale” is the name of one Bond novel (1953), and two Bond movies (1967 and 2006). I have not found references to the AE1200 before 2012, so it seems completely impossible that a 2012-released product could have been featured in any of the Bond Casinos Royale.
Now let's talk about the Seiko G757
Bond wore a digital watch in Octopussy. Octopussy was released in 1983, which is 29 years before the AE1200 seems to have been released, so it is impossible for the AE1200 to have been in Octopussy.
The digital watch worn by Bond in Octopussy was made by Seiko. The Seiko Group and Casio Computer Co., Ltd. are different companies, and Casio does not own Seiko. In other words, the digital watch worn by Bond in Octopussy was not a Casio, and therefore could not possibly have been the Casio AE1200.
I have heard arguments that the Casio AE1200 (not worn by Bond in any movie) and Seiko G757 (worn by Bond in Octopussy) are so similar that the Casio AE1200 should be considered a Bond watch. This is a weak argument that does not stand up to minimal scrutiny. For the sake of argument, let's accept that watches not worn by Bond can be considered to be Bond watches if they match real Bond watches in specific areas. Let's compare the Casio AE1200 and the Seiko G757 to establish those areas:
Display Type (digital)
Hands (hour, minute, second)
Number of buttons (4)
Dial shape (octagon)
Country of Origin (Japan)
Now if you believe that the Casio AE1200 is a “Bond watch” because it matches a real bond watch in the above categories, then you would also believe that any watch matching other real Bond watches (let's use an Omega Seamaster 300 for example) in those categories would also be a “Bond Watch” * Display Type (analog) * Hands (hour, minute, second) * Number of buttons (0) * Dial shape (circle) * Country of Origin (Switzerland) This would include so many watches so as to render the concept of a “Bond watch” meaningless.
So wear your AE1200 with pride, but respect it for what it is and stop pretending it's a Bond watch.
How to look like Pierce Brosnan – The hottest James Bond
Pierce Brosnan is one of my favorite actors of all time. In my mind, 90s Pierce Brosnan is straight up the definition of cool. I was hopelessly in love with every single character he played from the late 80s to maybe 2005. After all, who else do you call when there’s a North Korean with a sky laser? Who else steals paintings out of the Met just for fun? Who else can make Christmas come more than once a year? There's no linguist more cunning than him, and if he stole my girlfriend, I’d high-five her for pulling guys that hot. In fact, if I were to look at all the James Bonds and pick out the one that looks the best from a modern point of view, I’d definitely pick Pierce Brosnan. Sean Connery is dressed very conservatively, in a classic British civil servant style, and if you emulated him today, you would be seen as a bit stuffy, and a bit out of touch. Roger Moore dressed in a very dandy, playboyish 78s style, the way he dresses looks immediately dated, and perhaps even a bit sleazy (a la Leisure Suit Larry). I don’t actually like Craig much, but that is intentional, as he “wears his clothes with disdain” (quote from Vesper in Casino Royale), he’s shall we say, a bit too Sprezzatura to be the sexiest spy in the world. So of course, if you cannot be like your hero, here on /malefashionadvice we talk about how we can look like your hero. And of course, we gotta talk about how you can look like your hero when you don’t have the MI6 picking up your bill. So today, I’m going to talk about the classic 90s Pierce Brosnan look and look at the half priced and quarter priced alternative. Peak Pierce Brosnan style wise in my opinion starts from Remington Steele in the late 80s to After the Sunset in 2005. Personally my favorite is either Bond in The World is Not Enough, or Die Another Day and that look is the one I will be discussion today. Brosnan’s Bond worn a lot of different things over the years, but I think we can distill down his style as a suave, charming, ladies man into a few key characteristics: Dark Italian cut suit, solid color tie, and a dive watch. If you cannot picture it, consult this picture or this one. So let’s start by looking at exactly what peak 90s James Bond wore: 90s James Bond wanted to ditch the dandy look of the 80s, and the conservative look of the 70s. His suiter of choice was Brioni, and he wore a suit that gave him a very sleek, modernized, international look. His suits were mostly single breasted, 2 button, four cuff buttons, double vented, notch lapels, patch pockets, and usually in a very dark navy. Impeccably hand stitched with a full canvas and perfect lapel roll, you can find his suit of choice from Brioni, $ 5,395.00. His shirts and ties came from Turnbull & Asser. Mostly barrel cuff (they wanted to ditch the stuffy French cuff look for something sleeker) with three buttons and the classic T&A collar in a variety of whites and blues. The ties he wore were mostly silk in a plain or simple pattern like a houndstooth. Shirt: $395, and tie: $195. Watch wise Pierce Brosnan was the first Bond to ditch the Rolex Submariner for the Omega Seamaster. As a watch fanatic, I really much prefer the Seamaster, as it just feels more modern, more avant-garde, and just a more unique look. Of course, over the years Omega changed the model a little bit, today’s Seamaster Professional is $4,400 for the steel on steel automatic version. So overall, if you want the whole 90s Bond look with modern versions of the original pieces, it would cost you $10,385 + tax before any sales or discounts. Of course, that is without considering the shoes or accessories such as belts, tie bars and pocket squares. Sounds a bit steep isn’t it? Well, let’s look at the half-priced Bond, getting the look for under $5,000 shall we? So first, we have to find a top quality Italian suit that isn’t too slim and that isn’t too fashion forward. We want that classic and timeless look that Brosnan effortlessly carries. My choice? Canali, with their contemporary fit really hits the notes. Mild waist suppression, medium width lapels, and, at only $1795, less than half the price of the Brioni. You still get the full canvas construction and quality wool, but of course, you’re losing out on the hand stitching. There’s an issue with finding an alternative to the Turnbull & Asser shirt. Their signature is the 3 button barrel cuff, a style Bond is known to wear in the 90s. There are almost no other shirtmakers who would make it. But that grade of materials, worksmanship and collar spread? Find it at Eton for $245. Tie? Eton has a good medium width dark blue silk tie for $145. As for the watch, you’re looking for a dive watch, steel on steel, colored (ceramic now, but back in the day aluminum) unidirectional scalloped edge bezel, with a simple date complication. Most dive watches have coin edge bezels a-la Submariner, the Omega style octagonal bezel is much more rare. I looked around, and well, after consulting A Blog to Watch, I think the next best avant-garde dive watch is well, made by the guys who claim to be “Swiss avant-garde”, the Tag Heuer Aquaracer ($2550). So the “half priced Bond” look would set you back $4735 + tax before discounts. Of course, we can do even cheaper right? I mean, Tags aren’t exactly a value for money brand, and nobody is going to notice the difference between an expensive and a cheap tie really. Let’s look at an even cheaper way to get the Bond look, the 8th price fit. So Brioni is a well-known Roman suiter. Suit Supply has well, a cut known as the Lazio cut. At a rough glance, yeah, Suit Supply’s Lazio cut is shall we say, heavily inspired by Brioni. I mean, sure, you’re not getting the luxurious top grade wool or full canvas construction, and the Suit Supply suit is a mass produced garment with minimal handiwork, but hey, at a glance, Suit Supply’s Lazio is essentially a poor man’s Brioni, and, only $569. Shirt and Tie? Well, Charles Tyrwhitt makes a decent twill shirt and a silk tie at $49.75 for the shirt and $39 for the tie. Of course, in order to get this price, you have to buy more than one of each. Finally, the watch. Finding a quality diver without a coin edge is quite frankly, not easy, especially if we want it to be a real, ISO certified dive watch. So how about the Certina DS action diver? Another member of the Swatch group like Omega, Certina is a quality swiss watchmaker, and their action diver is $895 MSRP. (I personally am an automatic guy, but if you’re just going for the look, the quartz Precidrive Action Diver has an MSRP of $675) So the frugal version of the Brosnan look is $1554 (and I must remind you, you can save hundreds off that watch if you decide to go gray market instead of pay MSRP). Of course, again, all prices here are MSRP with no discounts what so ever. If you wait for a sale and go gray market, I actually think you can almost get this fit for under $1000. So there you have it, the original Bond look with modern versions all the original pieces at $10,385 MSRP, the half-priced Bond fit at $4735, and the 8th (?) priced Bond at $1554. Of course, if you wanna ooze cool like him, you also have to sit there and practice your puns and remember to always keep your tip up. PS: have a GF, wife, or other woman in your life? The lengendary orange bikini that ushered in puberty for millions of kids around the world is made by Eres, although I think they discontinued the exact model recently.
So I loved watches since I was a kid, collected back then, wish I still had some of those pieces. Here is my current Collection. I'm just going to try to provide as much information on these pieces as I can and explain why I have them. Starting from the top, going from left to right. Grand Seiko, Snowflake SBGA211G I got this watch in August of this year when I was down in AZ. I hadn't seen any GS watches in person and while visiting my brother I knew there was an AD in Scottsdale. At that time I had seen u/horologyhouse post those awesome photos of SBGH267G, with the micro print G's and S's and lighting bolts with the blue dial. I had those photos as the background on my phone and I was in love with it. But once I saw it in person and then tried on the Snowflake, there was no way I wasn't going to get the Snowflake. I'm not much of a bracelet guy, and I had been looking for the right strap for it, I eventually bit the bullet and had a custom Stingray strap made by Combat Straps, this is now my daily driver and I love staring at it. Omega Seamaster Professional 184.108.40.206.01.003 I wanted a diver and loved the versatility of this piece. I currently wear it on a rubber strap with a deployment clasp, but also love it on NATOs and dark brown leather straps. This watch can be dressed up or down and gets a significant amount of wrist time. Omega Seamaster CSP 14390-8-SC 1960 I was wearing the Hamilton Jazzmaster coming up as my dress watch for quite a long time, but I decided I wanted something with a little more history and more rare as my dress watch. I only wear this watch when doing sales presentations, so far it has been lucky, I wear it with a suit and love having something significantly older than me on my wrist. I just amazes me that this watch is from 1960 and keeps on ticking. I haven't had it serviced, but it only gets worn about once a quarter, it is my dressy, dress watch. Mont Blanc 8487 This is one of my most special watches. This watch belonged to my mentor who taught me everything I know about business. He hired me out of college and took me under his wing and taught me, not only about business, but how to be an honest man with integrity and to take pride in the service we provide. When I first started working for him, I immediately noticed this watch and complimented him on it. It is apparently the watch he congratulated himself with when he bought the company where he hired me. Over the 10 years that we worked together I grew in the company and eventually became a minority partner and General Manager. Before this though, I bought the Accutron below. I thought the Accutron looked similar and it was something I could afford at the time. Last year, my boss gifted me his Mont Blanc. We then sold the company and he passed away of cancer about a month after gifting me the watch. He was a great man who taught me a lot and this watch is absolutely priceless to me. Weiss, American Issue Field Watch This isn't the CAL 1003, it is a Swiss movement assembled by Cameron Weiss. I wanted a field watch and liked the Weiss story. At the time I bought this watch, I was trying to come up with a three watch collection. It consisted of a diver, field watch and a Rolex Explorer, well that never happened, got two of the watches, but no Explorer yet, and I pretty much blew my Rolex money on my GS Snowflake. So many in the years to come, but no day soon. Bulova 96cTB This was my first (what I thought at the time) high end watch. It was over $200 at the time and I was in college and that was a lot to me. It is still special to me as I wore this watch in 2007 when I got married. I believe I bought the watch sometime in or before 2003. My next big watch purchase was the Accutron inspired by my boss. Hamilton Jazzmaster HML-H32505731 This was used as my dress watch for a time, I spent just under $500 on it, but it doesn't get a lot of wrist time these days. The watch is still beautiful, has the day date function and is an automatic, the indices are gorgeous but I just don't wear it enough. I'm going to post it on /watchexchange again, posted it a couple of months ago, but didn't get any bites. Bulova, Automatic open heart I don't know the model number on this piece. My wife got it for me as a Christmas present, it doesn't do much for me personally. Also, going to try to sell this piece again. Bulova Accutron Corvara 65B001 This is the watch that was inspired by my bosses Mont Blanc. It's not a chronograph but had a similar look with the black and polished surfaces. I don't wear this watch as much as I used to, but I still love it. I love the teak deck or grooved face with the indices and skeltonized hands. The watch is heavy and you know you're wearing it when it's on your wrist. When I bought this watch it was by far the most expensive watch I had ever purchased and I never thought I would spend more on a watch. It can be had for cheaper these days, but it's special to me and I'm never letting it go. Luminox Atacama Alarm Chronograph 1840 This was my second Luminox purchase, I like the micro gas tubes that were used as opposed to normal lume. I wear this watch on some weekends depending on what I'm wearing. I've never changed the strap and it has held up really well, it's one of my favorite watch strap combos. G-Shocks, Red, White, Blue, Yellow and Grey I bought all but the Grey one several years ago, I just think they are fun watches that I wear on the weekends depending on my outfit. I also wear them when playing Pickleball (like tennis but slower). I'm going to sell the Red, White, Blue and Yellow ones over on /watchexchange shortly. I think I'll be good with the grey one that tracks my steps. I just bought the Grey one last week, it has a step counter in it and I think this is going to be the perfect Pickleball watch. For the last couple of years I was wearing a Samsung Gear Fit 2, but then the battery stopped holding a charge. So I went back to my real watches. It really reminded me how temporary a "Smart Watch" can be, one of the things I love about watches is they are legacy pieces that will endure time, and a smart watch simply won't do that. Luminox Grey Dial and Green Dial These are my mowing the lawn doing yard work type of watches. The Grey dial has been beat up over and over and it keeps on ticking. I've also traveled the most with this Grey watch, it is tough as nails and I'm not worried it will be stolen. Seiko 5 Diet Pepsi I bought this watch because of the bezel, the bracelet sucked and was loud and sound like tin on my wrist. I wear this watch on a blue Nato or Stars and stripes Nato. I like to wear it on Independence Day, Memorial Day and other holiday. I also just wear it when working around the house or camping. Casio Casino Royale I bought two of these, one for my son and one for me. When I play Pickleball on in the summer he always comes with me to the park. He used to take off for over 20 minutes which would send me into a panic looking for him. So we bought these watches and we would both set timers for 10 minutes, he was required to come back every ten minutes and check in with me. Once we set up this system, we were both much happier. He thinks watches are cool and is starting to get into them. Freestyle Shark Watch I paid too much money for this thing. It was $55 bucks and I just got it. My wife thinks it's lame and girly, but it reminded me of that retro late 80s early 90s style of my youth and I thought it was a piece. We'll see if I keep it. I'm going to start clearing some of these pieces out as I want to make room, eventually for the following pieces.
I think that I'll be done when I have these pieces. Right now I'm at the point where I can't or shouldn't spend any more money on watches for a while. I think I've reached the correct number of watches for now, N-1. Where N equals divorce. So I need to stay put with what I have for now. On that note, I'm going to try to clear some space by selling the Hamilton, Bulova open Heart and some of the Gshocks. Watches have always had a special place in my heart as I've been intrigued by them since I was a kid. My very first watch, was from Kmart and it had a digital display showing an analog hands and it had a stop watch, I don't remember the brand but it had Michael Jordan on it and I thought the digital display of the analog watch was awesome. The Easter Bunny brought it for me. That's where the love started. Anyways, I'm starting to ramble. Hope you enjoyed my collection, been wanting to share it for a while.
[WTT]/[WTS] Omega SMPc 41mm Blue For Rolex OP36 116000 Blue 3-6-9 Dial / $2595 USD
https://imgur.com/a/e4z0IAs (NEW and old Timestamp in imgur link - happy to take more photos for serious traders/sellers). I will consider any trades for the Rolex OP36 116000 -specifically the 3 6 9 blue dial. Will add cash, of course, with amount depending your 116000 color and quality. If you have any other OP36 model, please feel free to message me as well (silver 3 6 9 or double batons will be considered as well, although I dolovethe blue). No box or papers from your side needed. Will consider selling for $2595 USD - slightly negotiable especially if you're willing to do F2F to save costs on both sides in NE USA (NY, DC, Baltimore, are fine etc.). (The newer Omega boxes are huge, and since this is Joma set, F2F would be easiest). Again, if you do have a blue Rolex OP36, I will work very hard to work out a trade as F2F trade is preferred for now, but will consider selling for $2595. If no trades go through within the next week or two, I'll likely relist this with a heavy emphasis on FS instead. I am located in Philly and am happy to meet you half-way or travel to surrounding areas to meetup for an F2F trade or sale (NY, DC, Baltimore, are fine etc.). Given the size of the Joma set, F2F is preferred since shipping the box is a hassle for a trade / sale.
[FS][USA]Salvatore Ferragamo Belt and Omega Planet Ocean Replica
Hey guys, I have two items for sale today.
Salvatore Ferragamo Belt from Nina - Near mint condition, worn a couple of times. No problems with the belt, all parts function properly. I have the box with all the documentation and the metal thing to poke holes (also got the fake receipt haha). I don't know any flaws with the belt; the serial code checks out (the letter portion not the last 4 numbers which I think differ for each belt). If you need any more pictures of the belt PM me. It's size 32-36.
Price: 65 shipped without box, 75 shipped with box (Need to buy a priority box from PO); open to offers Pictures:https://imgur.com/a/1ZGcL2M
Omega Planet Ocean Seamaster Coaxial - It's a good rep; still in DS condition with the plastic wrapping still around it. I can't find any flaws with it besides it having the wrong movement (not a clone movement of the original). It feels heavy (unlike many lower quality reps) and is definitely stainless steel. Fun fact: it's a replica of the same watch used in Casino Royale (James Bond film) so extra clout.
Price: 35 shipped without box. I have a box for my Grand Seiko but I don't really use it because I have a display case. If you want the box as well, I'm going to sell it all for 65 shipped (It's a wooden Seiko box; the letters Seiko are embossed on the box with some kind of gold foil and has a cushion inside for the watch). I am again open to offers. Pictures:https://imgur.com/a/4zrGzJI I am a vouched user so I only take Paypal Gift. PM me for any questions. Have a good one!
